ovito software package provides visualization and analysis tool for atomistic simulation data, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ovito
ovito is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ovito package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ovito *
You will get with ovito package name, version, architecture and description in a table
